I expect someone who is more than 50 years old to know limits when it comes to doing things. Subtlety ALWAYS works best, especially with stubborn people. Being a stubborn person herself, she should have known this. Instead, she decided to go about her own way and cause a mother and a child (who has never had any huge fights or arguments in their lives and have always loved and respected each other very much) to stop speaking to each other for five days.
